I really wanted to move to WordPress, but AOL Journals couldn't export to Wordpress so I had to go through Blogger to get to WordPress. So, follow me over there where I can get back into business. This new one will just be an archive blog for the time being until I make a final decision on what to do with it.

Outside In has Moved To Blogger!
I'm glad that I could get this blog away from AOL Journals before the shutdown. Now, I have to plan what to do next. Then, we'll get back to the regular programming.

Lennon 68
Happy Birthday
John Lennon
He would have been 68 today. Imagine if John were still here for a moment. I think he'll be commenting on the presidential race between Obama and McCain and saying what a couple of @#$&%!s George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are.
One side note: Moving day for this blog and its sister blog is coming soon. Stay Tuned!
"Imagine" by John Lennon
I believe this song is appropriate since this blog is moving away soon.

RIP Kingston Trio Founder
Sad news. Kingston Trio founder, Nick Reynolds, died last Wednesday in San Diego, California, due to acute respiratory disease and other illnesses. His family decided to take him off of life support.
Reynolds along with Bob Shane and Dave Guard formed the Kingston Trio in the mid-1950s. Their first hit song was "Tom Dooley" in 1958. The group was an influence on Joan Baez and Bob Dylan.
In 1961, Dave Guard left and John Stewart joined the Trio as his replacement. Stewart passed away back in January of this year.

Woe is I: I Have A Virus
I hate having a virus. My throat is a little sore and my sinuses are clogged. At least, I'm not feverish. I seem to get sick every October for the last few years.
I spent the last two days (October 3 & 4) at the Asperger Association of New England's annual conference in Marlborough. Friday's keynote speaker was Dr. Daniel Rosenn who is one of the founding members of AANE. Saturday's keynote speakers were authors/brothers Augusten Burroughs and John Elder Robison. John is the sibling with Asperger's. His book, Look Me in The Eye, is his account of his life with Asperger's. His brother Augusten wrote Dry, Running with Scissors, Possible Side Effects, Wolf at the Table, and other books. I enjoyed both days immensely.
Right now, I am trying to figure out where to re-start Outside In. Should I go to WordPress or Blogspot or some other blog hosting site? I am busy with other things like improving my work situation. It's just one more thing to deal with right now.
