The Communicative Special Needs Program at the Marengo Ranch Elementary School is a success with Branden Hughes, a boy with Asperger's Syndrome. He is learning social skills and understanding feelings with the help of his mother, Jamie, who is also a teacher in the program. He also gets help from another teacher called, Colleen Hurley, on the playground.
With this program, Branden is able to socialize more with his fellow students.
