John Lennon Portrait to Raise Charity for Autism Group

Artist Peter Howson has donated a painting of late Beatle John Lennon to Enable, and autism charity.  The painting will be auctioned at the Big Apple Ball is Glasgow in September.

Howson's 21-year-old daughter Lucie has Asperger's Syndrome.  Howson himself has a milder form of Asperger's himself.  He was diagnosed at 34 back in 1994.  He plans to create a special painting about autism to donate to the auction as well.

Jennifer Niven of Enable says that this year's auction totals will be higher than last year's.

Thank you, Peter.
