This recent Sunday Boston Globe article called "For Autistic Students, Social Skills From A Handheld Device" by Peter Schworm talks about autistic students using personal digital assistants (PDAs) to look up the rules of conversation and emotional issues.  It also helps them how to be organized.

I wish I could go to a school like that when I was a teenager.
