High Flying Heart Risk, Thanks to Sleep Apnea?

A recent Australian study says that people with severe obstructive sleep apnea may be at a greater risk for heart trouble.  Researchers looked at both healthy people and people with the sleep disorder during a simulated flight.

The ones with the obstructive sleep apnea showed higher heart rates, physiological stress, and a need for more oxygen.  Researchers are wondering if people with the disorder should travel with supplementary oxygen like others who have lung problems and need oxygen.
