Kindergartener with Asperger's Gets Banished

Last week, a five-year-old kindergartener was voted out of his class "Survivor" style by his own classmates.  The teacher authorized this after the student was sent to the principal's office for humming and eating his paper.  The mother of the child complained and the teacher has been removed from that class and reassigned.

Currently, the child is in the process of being diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome.

Personally, I find this disgusting.  The teacher is allowing other kids to be intolerant of other kids' differences.  That is bad.  A teacher is supposed to teach tolerance and acceptance of others, not discrimination.  This teacher shouldn't be teaching young kids.
