Loved The Love Show! All You Need Is Cirque!

Last week, I went to Las Vegas and checked out Cirque du Soliel's Love Show, which is a tribute to the Beatles' music of the 1960s.  The show had everything: ballet dancing, rollerblading, acrobatics, tap dancing, circus parades, somersaults, Volkswagon Beetles and flying beds!  The special effects and the video screen were also wonderful.  The show ran for 90 minutes and was definately a magical mystery tour.

The stage was a full 360 degrees with moveable parts, trap doors and elevator lifts.  It had a life of its own as transformed from song to song.   The videos featured actually footage of the Beatles.   Each musical number was an interpretation of the 1960s and the career of the Beatles.

At the end of the show, the audience was on their feet and cheering.  A great show.
