Chronic Nasal Obstruction Linked to Sleep Apnea

An article claims that a person with chronic nasal obstruction is 5 times more likely to suffer from sleep apnea.  Nasal obstructions can be caused by 3 things: allergies, rhinosinusitis, or a deviated septum.

I went to an Otolaryngist last year at Mass Eye and Eye Infirmary and she found a deviated septum when she examined me.  She gave something to irrigate my nasal passages with salt water to keep them clear.  It's been very helpful.
