It's Autism Awareness Week in the United Kingdom right now, and the Autism Awareness Campaign UK has released a DVD called "Autism Action." On the disc is Ivan Corea of AACUK calls on Prime Minister Gordon Brown to initiate a national strategy on autism. It includes ideas of a 10-year program of action hoping to create specialized schools for autism and a national compact with employers.
A copy of the DVD has been sent to Gordon Brown and other political leaders.
