The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced their list of people who will be receiving a star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Doors will be getting a star next year along with other celebrities like Michael Caine and John Goodman.
When I was sixteen years old, I read the Jim Morrison biography, No One Here Gets Out Alive! by Jerry Hopkins and Danny Sugarman. It's the best book I ever read. It motivated me to go to college and be someone. I feel very thrilled that they are getting a major honor like this. The Doors were the first rock band to have their own billboard on Sunset Strip.
