Temple Grandin and her mother, Eustacia Cutler, spoke at The Orange County Mental Health Associations's Conference on Autism in Fishkill, New York, on Friday, June 1, 2007. Over 550 people were in attendance at the event. Temple Grandin has autism and was able to earn a doctorate and write books on autism and cattle handling. Eustacia Cutler talked about her experiences with raising Temple when she was a child. Their stories helped raised awareness and showed a positive message about autism at the conference.
