Four actors on the ABC TV show, "Boston Legal," have been let go. They are Rene Auberjonois, Mark Valley, Julie Bowen and Constance Zimmer. John Larroquette of "Night Court" fame will be coming in as a new regular next season. Christian Clemenson who plays Jerry, the lawyer with Asperger's Syndrome, has been upgraded to series regular. Tara Summers, an actress recently seen on FX's "Dirt," is the other new cast member who will play an associate who works at Crane, Poole and Schmidt.
Sorry to see Rene Auberjonois go. He's very talented. I met him once at a Star Trek convention back in the mid-1990s when he was playing Odo on "Deep Space Nine."
