Buddy Holly!
He would have been 71 years old today. Greatly missed! His death along with Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper was the first Rock Tragedy. The plane crash happened on February 3, 1959, in a cornfield near Clear Lake, Iowa. His influence was powerful to many artists and still is.
