Back in 1985, I worked in the WERS newsroom at Emerson College and wrote an obituary of Dr. Charles Richter, the inventor of the Richter Scale which measures the severity of earthquakes, for our noon news broadcast. Little did I know that I had something with Dr. Richter: Asperger's Syndrome.
According to the article called "Measure of A Man: Seismologist Charles Richter," it's now believed that he had Asperger's as well.
