CADDRE to do a Study on Autism

No birthday wishes or videos here.  CADDRE is the Centers for Autism and Developmental Disabilities Research and Epidemiology Network.  Five centers are going to do a five-year study on the causes of autism and other developmentally delayed disorders.  This multi-site study was give a $5.9 million grant from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention. 

The centers will be looking for genetic and enviromental causes.  They will also examine children, fathers and mothers.  They will also look at family medical histories  as well.
