I was shocked to hear on the CBS Evening News that Evel Knievel had passed away after a long illness. He was in the news earlier this week settling a lawsuit with Kanye West over a video where Kanye calls himself "Evel Kanyevel." I used to watch Evel do his stunts on TV when I was kid back in the 1970s.
Evel was 69 years old. E! News wrote a tribute article for Evel called "Death of a Daredevil."
