The 3rd Type of Sleep Apnea

WebMD says that the Mayo Clinic has discovered a third type of Sleep Apnea that is the combination of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Central Sleep Apnea.  It's called Complex Sleep Apnea.  According to the article, it looks like it only affects men.

So far, I'm using a CPAP machine for sleeping.  My sleep doctor wants me to take 1mg of Melatonin for two weeks so that I can sleep 8 hours.  I took one last night and slept only six hours.  That's my ususal sleep time.  I had to force myself to sleep the extra two hours.

Am I glad that it's a holiday today?  Yes.
