A man in Iowa named Jim Leseney wrote a letter to The Des Moines Register about bringing awareness about adults with Asperger's Syndrome. He was writing in response to the Register's article about centers that were helping children with Asperger's Syndrome.
He emphasized that it was important to teach the public that children with Asperger's grow to be adults with Asperger's. The 62-year-old man was diagnosed two years ago with Asperger's.
